Roberta Di Laura represents Italy and Germany at the CID Dance UNESCO Assembly in Paris

The international dancer Roberta Di Laura will represent Italy and Germany at the General Assembly of the International Dance Council recognised by UNESCO, of which she has been a member since 2013. The event promoted by the CID UNESCO Paris (the world's largest organisation for all forms of dance) is one of the most prestigious and eagerly awaited events on the dance scene. It will take place on Monday 13th December in Paris and will be attended by illustrious personalities from all over the world. The young dancer, originally from Taranto, is linked to Germany because of her brilliant profession as a dance teacher, which she currently carries out in Stuttgart, where she is one of the most appreciated dance teachers. Roberta Di Laura, born in Taranto on 10/10/1992, professional dancer, teacher and choreographer, Project and Event Manager, Member of the International Dance Council of Paris (UNESCO), Ambassador at Large and Head of the Youth Department of the "Universum Academy Switzerland" in Lugano and also creator of the project “Roberta Di Laura – International Dance Project”. Graduated in classical dance, and contemporary dance at the “Leading Universal Division of Teaching (LUDT) with recognition by the Ajkun Ballet Theatre of New York, after the classical maturity (100/100) she obtained a degree in "Arts and Sciences of the Performing Arts" at the Sapienza University of Rome (104/110), a Master's Degree in "Business, Marketing and Project Management (Life Learning Institute 100/100) and the Postgraduate Specialisation in “Management of tourism services. From tourism business management to territorial marketing” (Unitelma Rome University 80/110) . He has also taken part in on-site refresher courses at the prestigious University of Oxford (England) and in E-learning at "Harvard University" (USA), "Columbia University" (USA), "Wageningen University" (Netherlands), "Rochester Institute of Technology" (USA), "Sorbonne" (France), "United Arab Emirates University" (UAE), "International Business Management Institute" (Germany), "Berklee College of Music" (USA), "Ross School of Business - University of Michigan" (USA), "Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi" (Italy), DeVos Institute of Arts Management - University of Maryland (USA), Polytechnic Peter the Great St. Petersburg (Russia), Université de Genéve (Switzerland). She is also a certified instructor of Fitness, Pilates, Yoga, Aerobics and Gymnastics for Seniors. She has attended master classes with internationally renowned masters, prima ballerinas and ètoiles from the major dance academies such as the Vaganova Academy of St. Petersburg, Conservatory of Music and Dance in Paris, Vienna Opera, Bolshoi Moscow, Ballet of Cuba, Paris Opera, Royal Ballet of Flanders, English National Ballet in London, Contemporary Dance School in Hamburg, Steps on Broadway in New York and many others. Among them, it is worth mentioning her participation in the "Master of High Academic Classical Training for Teachers of the Vaganova Method" held by the teacher Irina Sitnikova (Vaganova Academy of St. Petersburg, Russia). She also took part in several stages at prestigious academies such as the School of Dance of the Teatro alla Scala in Milan, the School of Dance of the Teatro dell'Opera in Rome, the School of Ballet in Rome and the National Academy of Dance in Rome. She has presented research papers on dance for World Congresses in Athens, St. Petersburg, Canada, Florida, Warsaw, where she was the protagonist of a photographic exhibition at the University of Warsaw and the National Ethnographic Museum in Warsaw, and also in Ukraine, Avignon, Bahamas, Moscow and Tokyo where she was the only Italian to send a research paper on dance and to represent Italy abroad. Furthermore, during the 50th World Dance Congress held in Athens, her thesis "Ida Rubinstein: revolution between theatre and dance" was presented. She has danced in prestigious events in Italy, to name but a few: Titanic Live Concert - Taranto (by Robin Gibb and Robin J. Gibb – Bee Gess, in which she was the main performer and prima ballerina), "Festival Internazionale Sanremo Benessere", "Giovani Eccellenze - Urbino". She has also been the protagonist of international festivals and projects, including photographic and videographic ones, in numerous countries such as: Romania, Tunisia, England, Germany, Taiwan, Morocco, United Arab Emirates and is Ambassador of the international dancewear brand Ballet Papier in Barcelona. He has received several awards and prizes including: "Oscar Night Prize - Statte", "International Prize City of Chrysalis City of Valentino", "Nilde Iotti Prize ", "City of Monopoli Prize – Young Excellent", "Adoc Taranto Fiducia Prize", "King Manfredi International Culture Prize", "Universum Donna International Prize", "Semper Fidelis Prize", "Women of Apulia Prize", “Lifetime Achievements Award”, "Salento Donna Prize", "Corriere di Taranto Prize - Women of Taranto", "Dies Virtutis Prize", "Ispiring Women´s Aichyci Award”, Lifetime Achievement Award “Una Vita per la Danza”. In 2018 she estarted a career as a dance teacher in Germany between Stuttgart, Cologne, Duesseldorf and Frankfurt. She is currently teaching dance propaedeutics, creative dance, academic ballet and modern dance, Pilates and Jazz Ballet in several prestigious schools and academies in Stuttgart. At the same time she works as a project and event manager in the field of dance. In 2020 she was featured in the international magazine "STARS" Illustrated Magazine New York as one of the world's most influential personalities of the year. In 2021 she became Member of the “World Artistic Dance Federation”.
